How it works & Safety

Safety First

At flappingo your safety always comes first. Before connecting, traveling, or meeting others, take a few simple steps to stay safe and enjoy every experience with confidence.
(You can also read our full Safety Policy for more details.)

Profiles and References

Take time to read member profiles and references.
Look at how people describe themselves and what others have said about them. Don't rush it — read everything available.
If something feels off, trust your instincts and move on.

Go with your guts.

If a person, situation, or profile makes you uneasy, it's okay to step back.
Setting boundaries and saying no is completely fine.
If you ever feel uncomfortable during a stay or hangout, leave or skip it. Communicate openly, look after yourself, and when unsure just step back.

Always have a backup!

Sometimes things don't go as planned — be prepared.
If your host or stay isn't what you expected, have an alternative option ready.
Research nearby hostels, hotels, or another host in advance.
The same applies to events or hangouts — a little preparation can prevent a lot of stress later.

Know the local vibe!

Before you travel, do a bit of homework.
Learn about cultural and religious differences, local customs, and general safety tips.
Remember that gender roles and expectations can vary widely from place to place.
Staying informed helps you feel confident, comfortable, and respectful wherever you go.

Drop a reference!

After your experience, help others by leaving a clear and honest reference.
Your feedback keeps the community safe, transparent, and trustworthy.

Keep It Safe Online

Protect your personal information.
Only share details like your phone number or address through private messages and with people you trust.
Double-check profiles before exchanging sensitive info — a little caution online helps keep your adventures worry-free!
After exchanging cards, try to look up more information about your fellow member on other popular social media platforms -it can help you make the best decision. If you ever feel the need to quit at any point you are completely free to do so.

Report Concerns or Incidents

If you ever feel unsafe or experience inappropriate behavior, report it immediately. Use the "Report" button on member profiles or contact our Support Team at info@freeaccomm.com.
If you're in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
We take all reports seriously and review them promptly to keep our community safe.

Verified Members

Look for verified profiles — they've confirmed their identity through our verification process, adding an extra layer of trust.

Respect and Consent

Every interaction should be based on mutual respect. Always ask for and respect boundaries — your own and others'.
Harassment, discrimination, or unwanted behavior are never acceptable and can lead to removal from the platform.

Consider Travel Insurance

For extra peace of mind, consider travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, theft, and cancellations. It's a small step that can make a big difference.
